Department Structure

Dingyou Law Firm consists of three departments: the Patent and Trademark Department, the Litigation Department, and the Foreign Notarization Department. The Patent and Trademark Department is responsible for basic non-litigation services such as patent applications, trademark registrations, and copyright registrations. The Litigation Department handles civil litigation primarily related to intellectual property. The Foreign Notarization Department manages intellectual property-related notarization and certification services in Hong Kong. Since its inception, the extraterritorial notarization team has handled a significant number of extraterritorial notarization and certification cases specific to the intellectual property sector, including patent invalidity and litigation, trademark, and copyright disputes. They have served over fifty law firms and patent agencies of various sizes. Furthermore, the team successfully handled Hong Kong's first extraterritorial shopping notarization for mainland patent litigation, demonstrating rich and professional practical experience in handling the details of extraterritorial notarization and certification.

The extraterritorial notarization team is committed to providing a one-stop service platform for intellectual property extraterritorial notarization and certification to domestic law firms, patent agencies, intellectual property lawyers, patent agents, and the vast number of intellectual property practitioners. This year, it is expected to provide extraterritorial notarization and certification services to over 200+ partner units.
